APE Racing uses billet forging to produce the raw material for all CNC-machined components, including handlebar risers and clamps. This process compresses the aluminum under high pressure, refining the internal grain structure before machining begins.

Compared to casting, billet forging creates a denser, more uniform material with significantly higher tensile strength. Microscopic inspection clearly shows tighter grain alignment and fewer internal voids, resulting in improved structural integrity.

By starting with forged billet material, we ensure that every CNC component delivers consistent strength, durability, and reliability—critical for rider safety in demanding off-road conditions.
